Bình Thuận Province’s Phan Thiết City has opened a night market in Phú Thuỷ Ward, the first night market in the south central province.
Located on Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên and Nguyễn Gia Tú streets, the market has more than 170 stalls that sell goods such as souvenirs, handicrafts and food between 5pm and 10 pm every day.
The coastal city has many special dishes like bánh căn (small pancake made from rice powder and eggs), bánh hỏi (thin rice vermicelli), gỏi cá Mai (white herring salad) and grilled dông (a kind of lizard living in sand holes).

Besides famous blue beaches with white sand, Phan Thiết has many beautiful landscapes and cultural sites, including 649-metre high Tà Cú Mountain, vast sand dunes, Vạn Thuỷ Tú Temple where more than 100 whale skeletons are stored, Phú Quý and Câu islands, and the country’s tallest and oldest lighthouse Kê Gà.
