With 15 days in Vietnam and travel by train you will have chance to see the whole beautiful landscapes of Vietnam country. One special thing when joining this trip you will have chance to stay at home-stay with Vietnamese like minority people in Sapa, at ancient house with local people in Hue, Hoi An, Vinh Long. Each home-stay night brings you different lifestyle of local people. A great experience to enjoy Vietnam cultures.

Duration

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

 

Welcome by our driver and guide at airport & transfer to hotel. Check in hotel & Overnight at standard hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (BL)

 

Morning: Visit Restored Sword Lake, Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Have lunch. Afternoon: Visit Ethnology Museum, Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Quan Thanh Temple and enjoy the famous water puppet show. Overnight at standard hotel.

 

 

 

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay visiting. Overnight on board (BLD)

 

Morning: Depart Ha Noi for Ha Long Bay. Welcome on board. Vietnamese lunch while passing "Fighting Cocks" Rock.

Afternoon: Visit Sung Sot “Amazing cave”, kayaking, swimming and sunbathing. Have seafood dinner. Overnight on board.

Day 4: Halong - Hanoi – night train to Sa Pa (BL)

 

Morning: Cruising. Visit Surprise cave; explore the Cave. 

Afternoon: Arrive in Ha Noi & take night train to Sapa. Overnight on train. Soft berth.

Day 5: Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Y Linh Ho – Ta Van & home-stay (BLD)

 

Morning: Arrive in Sa Pa, trek to Y Linh Ho village. Have lunch. Afternoon: trek to Ta Van village. Home-stay at Ta Van village.

Day 6: Ta Van – Sa Pa - Cat Cat village - Lao Cai – Ha Noi (BL)

 

Morning: More trek to go back Sa Pa and then Cat Cat village. Have lunch. Late afternoon: Take night train back Ha Noi. Overnight on train. Soft berth.

Day 7: Ha Noi – take night train to Hue (B)

 

Morning: Arrive in Ha Noi and free day  for shopping, or visit the city by your own. Late afternoon: Take night train to Hue & Overnight on train. Soft berth.

Day 8: Hue arrival & visit. Home-stay (BD)

 

Morning: Arrive in Hue,  visit the Citadel. Afternoon: Visit Thien Mu pagoda by boat, Minh Mang tomb. Then go ahead to Thuy Bieu village. Have dinner at home. Thuy Bieu Homestay

Day 9: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An – visit ancient Town & home-stay (BL)

 

Morning: Depart Hue to Hoi An. Stop at Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum, and Marble Mountains. Have lunch. Afternoon: Arrive in Hoi An, visit the ancient town. Home-stay at Vuon Trau

Day 10: Hoi An free time – Da Nang – train to Ho Chi Minh city (B)

 

Morning: Free time for shopping in ancient town. Afternoon: Take train to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight on train.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City (BL)

 

Morning: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh. Visit Independent Palace, Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. Afternoon: Visit Thien Hau Pagoda, China Town. Overnight  at standard hotel.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi tunnel (BL)

 

Morning: Visit Cu Chi Tunnel - This complex of underground tunnels that stretches over 250 km was made by the Viet Cong guerrilla during the war against the Americans. The tunnel was the key to victory on modern American and South Vietnamese forces. During our trip, we also learn what was the life  of the "Viet Cong" during this period. Have lunch. Afternoon: Back Ho Chi Minh City & free time. Overnight at standard hotel

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Vinh Long. Home-stay (BL)

 

In the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Saigon and depart to Cai Be (140 km - 2.5 hours drive). Upon arrival, embark on a cruise from Cai Be to Vinh Long. Discovery activity of the floating market and houses on stilts by the river
After the market, the boat continues to the island Binh An (Vinh Long). We have the chance to taste the tropical fruits and discover the daily life of local people ... Possibility to roam the village and approach the stores where local crafts are presented to sell. Our journey ends at Vinh Long Market. Overnight at Ba Duc Ancient House home-stay

Day 14: Cai Be floating market in Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (BL)

 

Morning: Visit Cai Be Floating market.  Have lunch. Afternoon: back Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at standard hotel.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)

 

You will have free time until we transfer you to Saigon Airport for your departure.
